Christina S.

Instructor

I grew up dancing, and after a long break, returned to dancing regularly as an adult. This turned my attention to fitness and conditioning. After 10+ years of practicing Pilates-based exercise, I joined Power4 when the studio opened and have been a member ever since. After a pandemic pregnancy and baby, it was just what I needed to really help pull me through post-partum recovery and get back to feeling like myself. Power4 has really leveled up my practice incorporating all equipment to challenge me even more. Naturally, the next step to furthering my practice was getting certified, and becoming an Apprentice Instructor has been a happy accident! I love how accessible Pilates is for everyone at any stage in life and any level of experience and ability. It helps people maintain quality of life with functional movement and can challenge the fittest of athletes. Form and technique are of the utmost importance to me because I know that the slightest adjustment to form can make a huge difference in a clients experience! I love challenging my classes with a mix of traditional and creative exercises and encourage strong mind-body connection.

Outside of the studio, I am a seasoned Finance professional. I am a licensed CPA with 20+ years of experience in financial services and technology companies in financial management, planning, analysis, accounting, and reporting. I love being a mom and introducing my daughter to the world around her. We travel as a family as much as we can, and you can still find me dancing whenever possible.

I hope to see you in class soon to get longer and stronger together!
